Preparing yourself
So you are interested in trying out skydiving? Well let me tell you, it was one of the most breathtaking experiences I have ever had. This adrenaline hobby was my dream since I was 16 years old. Since I was not of age to be able to sign the form at the time, I made the decision when I turned 18 to fulfill this dream at West Tennessee Skydiving. I grabbed one of my best friends and we drove to a field in the middle of nowhere where we watched the people before us fall gracefully from the sky.
We smiled with joy knowing that we would soon be descending from heights beyond the clouds
Saving the memories
When you arrive to fill out your waiver, the company offers an option of purchasing videos of yourself skydiving including tons of pictures. I decided to go big and purchase the bundle. Now I am able to cherish my moments by following myself through the video or reliving my moments in the pictures.

Training
After you fill out the forms you are sent to a room with other skydivers to watch a video of the multiple situations that could occur and what the process would look like before you perform it. Following the video we were escorted into a training area where we learned how to position our body when jumping, when falling, and when it was time to land. All this is very important so put your thinking cap on!
Trust your guide
Each skydiver is assigned a guide who will be with them throughout the skydiving process. The guide will prep you before and tell you what will happen once you get into the air. Remember that these guides skydive for a living and they are there to insure that you have a great time while being safe! My guide, Alex, was very enthusiastic and helped me have a wonderful first skydiving experience.
If you decided that you wanted to treasure a video of yourself, another employee that will be following you around with a go pro strapped to his head. This made me feel like a celebrity and I enjoyed every moment.
Jump for it
Although jumping out of a perfectly fine airplane 14,000 feet in the air might sound intimidating, it will give you the biggest rush of your life. The feeling of hovering over the world makes you feel as if you are flying and, before you know it, you are back on the ground.
